Hello! Welcome to my webpage. I am excited to be teaching at Redfield Public Schools. A little about me...I grew up and graduated from here as a Pheasant in 1996. After college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I taught high school social studies in David City, Nebraska for two years. Moving to Aberdeen gave me a chance to teach 8th grade social studies at Holgate Middle School and work on a master's degree from Northern State University. Since then, I ran a daycare in my home for six years and worked as the Director of Children's Ministries at Behtlehem Lutheran Church for 4.5 years.
On the personal front, I am married to Austin who works at the Wilbus Ellis distribution center in Aberdeen. We have three children. Micah (15) is in 9th grade this year. Zoe (13) will be in 7th grade. Malachi (11) is in the 5th grade. We enjoy outdoor activities, reading, and playing board and card games together. Some of my own hobbies are quilting, reading, and walking outside (when the weather is nice!!).
