Mrs. Hansen
  •            Hi! My name is Mrs. Hansen. I am the K-12 Life Skills Special Education Teacher here in Redfield. I have been teaching in the Life Skills classroom for nine years. I am entering my tenth year in this classroom, and am so excited to work with each of you! I graduated with Bachelor's degrees in Elementary and Special Education in May of 2011. I  also graduated with my Master's degree in Teaching and Learning in May of 2015.

My philosophy for learning is that each child is unique, and each learns in a different way. One of my responsibilities as a teacher is to help your child discover his or her individuality and work alongside them to maximize it. I am a firm believer in teamwork, hands-on experiences, and learning creatively. I am really looking forward to a fun–filled and educational year! Working jointly with me will be Teresa Barrie, LeAnne Bonin, Courtney Edgar, Kassie Sattler, and  Erin Van De Stroet.

Open communication is essential. Please feel free to contact me via email at anytime. It is best to catch me via phone before 8:00 am or after 3:30 pm using the school phone provided. My voicemail is set up and I can receive those voicemails from home as well.
